YouCan-Talk

YouCan Talk is a non-commercial, informal get together that aims to connect all those who think about the future and the possibilities for their own life. Short presentations on selected topics will give rise to discussions. All who are engaged in such topics or interested in sharing their knowledge and exchange information are most welcome. Whether you are an engineer, designer, founder, financier, or simply interested to be active, you will have the opportunity to meet interesting people and to study other opinions.

Idea

YouCan Talk – brings founders, entrepreneurs, investors, explorers, bloggers, designers, media experts and other interested people together for discussing themes of the future of the globalization, changes in society and personal challenges (YouCan – Create your Life).

The YouCan Talk project is “just for fun” but will bring certain benefits to all participants: meeting people, making contacts, getting to know new and interesting things, practicing and improving one’s own presentation skills, sharing knowledge and much more.

Who Can Participate

The YouCan Talk project is open to all friends and promoters as well as their acquaintances who are interested in themes relating to the future and the possibilities of framing one’s own life. It doesn’t matter whether you are an expert or a beginner. Especially welcome are those that are already working on concrete ideas, projects, or even start-ups and that want to present these briefly. The only prerequisites are openness to new ideas and willingness to learn and share.

What Topics will be Discussed

The spectrum of topics for discussion is deliberately broad in scope and expressly includes all related border fields. Key words are Life-Long Learning, Social Entrepreneurship, Doing Good, Digital Leadership, Advanced Communications, etc.

Is there an Entry Fee for the Meetings

Entry fees are waived for the time being. Ideally, we can find sponsors for room rentals, wi-fi, projectors, etc. In the event that we have costs not covered by a sponsor, we will organize a voluntary collection from all participants.

How Long will a Presentation Last

Single presentations should not exceed 10 to 15 minutes only in exceptional circumstances. A total program will go for 60 to 90 minutes max.
